FOLLOWING last year’s unseasonably wet weather, this year the sun shone on the Orchard Trust’s annual summer fair in Lydbrook.

There was even a visit from some intergalactic travellers who stopped by to join in the fun.

The fair was hailed a great success with a record number of people attending and raising more than £2,000 to allow those with disabilities plan their daily lives and fulfil their potential.

Gareth Jones, chief executive of The Orchard Trust, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Trust to all of those who contributed to the day.
