Council minutes and Gardening News,
Their quilted lips forming art reviews.
Smiling librarians performing tasks,
Wearing inscrutable council masks,
A child unable to reach a shelf,
An old lady muttering to herself.
A young man with his head askew,
Looking for titles that give a clue
To something sexy he hopes to find
