THREE people were arrested after a raid on a house in Coleford last week in which suspected heroin was seized.
On Tuesday everning a local policing team was joined by support groups from the force's operations unit as 14 officers carried out the warrant in St John's Street.
Hundreds of pounds worth of what is believed to be the class A drug was recovered during the operation, which has been hailed by local Inspector Richard Boyles as a significant breakthrough in the fight against drug crime in the Forest.
"This was part of an ongoing phase of activity designed at disrupting drug dealers in the area," he said.
"I hope it shows Foresters that we take drug crime very seriously and will take tough action where necessary."
Three men aged 38, 39 and 40 and local to the Coleford area were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. They have been bailed to attend Gloucester Police Station on July 9.
