BRITAIN’S newest steam locomotive, Tornado, will pass through Severnside on a St David’s Day special tomorrow (Wednesday).

The class A1 locomotive is due to leave London Paddington at 9.30am heading through the Severn Tunnel on its way to Cardiff and on its way back to the capital, the train will travel through the Forest.

The train is due to pass through Severn Tunnel Junction station at 1.07pm on the journey to Cardiff.

It is due to leave Cardiff to return to London at 4.31pm, passing through Severn Tunnel Junction at 5pm, Chepstow at 5.08pm and Lydney at 5.17pm.
