CHEPSTOW Rotary Club is again organising the annual torchlight carol service in Tintern Abbey.

 It takes place on Friday (December 7) at 7pm and entry is by programme on sale on the night in the Anchor Inn and at the entrances to the Abbey.

Flaming torches and light sticks will also be on sale for the procession with people gathering at the Anchor from 6pm.

Music will be provided by the Martin Singers and the service will be conducted by the Reverend Nora Hill, Vicar of Tintern.

Around 700 people are expected to come to this popular family event and the proceeds will go to Rotary charities, both at home and abroad.

Entry is £5 for adults and free for children.
