CLEARWELL’S Tudor Farmhouse received the highly commended award for Best Small Hotel in the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2016.

The hotel was one of five in England to be shortlisted for the award.

Hari Fell, co-owner of the Tudor Farmhouse, said: “This is such a great start to 2016.

Naturally we’re delighted that our commitment has been recognised by VisitEngland. It’s testimony to the professionalism of our amazing team of chefs, front of house and backroom staff who day-in-day-out ensure our guests have a memorable experience.

“We hope the award success we saw in 2015 will continue.”

Last year, Tudor Farmhouse – whose 20-mile menu celebrates the best local produce – was recognised for its commitment to local food and drink with two Taste of The West Awards, while Sawday’s travel guides – renowned for selecting special places to stay – acknowledged it as Best English Hotel of the Year.
