I HAVE been reading the letters in this paper recently about Two Rivers Housing and feel it necessary to let others know just how much they care. They consistantly go on about being a not for profit company and they do all they can to be of help.
A year or more ago a visit was paid to their offices to get them to cut a hedge at one of their properties which was at least some 20 feet high and about the same width (in other words this hedge had gone wild).
Their response to this was that it was the tenant's responsibility. This I may accept but the tenant had died. A new tenant then moved in and has since moved on and the hedge is still as bad. Again it was reported to them and the reply was the same as before. Do they think a new tenant will take this on knowing that for them to get this hedge cut down to a reasonable size will be quite an expense.
Just the other side of this garden fence is a car park belonging to them which houses a drain that can now barely be seen for rubbish that has not been cleared in the 10 years that they have owned it, so proving just how much they do care.
