A LONGHOPE-based vets’ practice has donated flea and tick treatment worth more than £750 to Forest of Dean Dog Rescue.

Pets Barn had bought various products for a local charity event last month but the surgery found it had left over spot-on products.

Practice manager, Mandy Williams, said “These preventative treatments are essential but can be quite costly so Bayer, who make the product, endorsed the idea of us donating them to keep the rescue dogs flea and tick free.”
