A THREE-way veterans' rugby tournament featuring French and Italian teams plus a side representing the Forest of Dean will be played at Lydney's Regensholme this Saturday.
The round robin matches with free admission begin at 1pm and should finish at 5pm.
The French team - Hippo-crampes - are from RC Le Brusc, a port close to Toulon. Volcanic ash permitting they will arrive at Bristol with a party of 32 on Thursday. They are staying at The Fountain Lodge, Parkend, for three days.
The Italian team, a group of 37, is also due to arrive from Milan, also on Thursday.
