DURING the past week I have been sent, by post,a letter from an organisation called "Dean Forest Voice" inviting me as a parish councillor to attend one of their meetings.
I have to use your letters column to reply to this letter as this organisation has not the common courtesy to put an address on its letter, it does not give the name of any of its officers nor is it signed. I do not respond to anonymous junk mail and I think that many of my fellow councillors will feel the same way.
So, "Dean Forest Voice," get your act together, learn the proper way to get yourselves heard and don't hide behind anonymous letters – if you have not the courage to sign a letter then don't write it. – Derek Cox, Le Gaps, Parkend.
