DIAMOND couple Gwen and Charles Saunders celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with a meal at the Rising Sun, Woolaston with their family.
They originally met during the war when Charles was with Bomber Command and Gwen was in the Land Army.
They are both from London and moved to Gloucester in 1976 when Charles relocated with the Ecclesiastical Insurance Office.
They moved to Coleford a couple of years ago to be nearer to their daughter.
