IT'S a dirty job, but Westbury Young Farmers are getting stuck into preparations for their annual muck sale.

They have already bagged about 700 loads of manure from local farms to raise money for their club funds.

Secretary Julie Brewer said: "The money raised will go towards our running costs and paying the County Federation levy. It is general farmyard manure, suitable for fertilising vegetable patches and flower beds."

The group have also raised £1,200 for the Dilke Memorial Hospital and £850 for the Great Oaks Dean Forest Hospice with a bonfire night celebration and their annual harvest supper.

Club members will be making deliveries to customers' homes on Sunday, March 1, priced at £5 for four bags. To book a delivery telephone 07518 515752.
