HAVING had to put up with the traffic lights in Whitecroft for months because of so called specialist contractors needed we have just had more works being carried out by Severn Trent to connect up to the new housing estate opposite the old pin factory.

When will it end? Whitecroft has not been normal for the last 4 months, we are subjected to long delays at the traffic lights and longer journeys to get to Bream and all without a by your leave from Severn Trent.

Does anyone actually know what they are doing? It would have been nice if they had posted something up for the locals to explain why they have been pussy footing around instead of getting on with the job!

I think the residents of Whitecroft deserve an apology for all the turmoil they have created. Of course it would be too much to ask of our local council to get involved and speed them up they can't even sort out the road surface along Forest Road.

Have you tried dodging the potholes at night when someone is driving towards you? It certainly looks like we are having a winter of discontent in Whitecroft, I for one am fed up with the way things are just left until someone shouts loud enough to be taken notice of.

So come on, you know who you are, get these things sorted.
