I AM writing in response to the article in the Review, 'Reward for attack info' concerning Mrs Eileen Chamberlyn.

When I read that someone has been doing unpleasant things to her it has made me realise how nasty some people can be.

Eileen was born in Mill Cottage 80 years ago, she raised her family and  saw her  husband buried from there and now is not in the best of health.

She is quite content  to go along as she always has done, minding her own business, doing her garden which she loves and getting on with everyday life. She has seen neighbours come and go and never had a cross word with any of them.

Eileen is a most courteous and gentle person and i feel very angry that someone is making her life a misery, it is terrible.

I told Eileen that I feel strongly about what is happening and I have persuaded her to allow me to write this letter.

This  very dear old lady is being bullied and intimidated around her own home and I say to the wicked person who is doing these dreadful things. Shame on you.
