But while the Grand Parade of top quality animals is the pinnacle of the show, there is so much more from the countryside on display.

The home craft section is home to a huge range of skills from bread making to photography, art, flower arranging and embroidery.
There are 20 classes for children of all ages either as individual entrants or as part of school and playgroup activity.
And if you enjoy growing flowers, fruit and veg, why not enter some of your produce in the horticulture section? Whether you are an experienced competitor or you’ve never shown your product before, you’ll get a warm welcome!
