FRIDAY the 13th lived up to it fearsome reputation when the veil was lifted on a terrifying Hallowe’en fright fest at the National Diving Centre at Tidenham.
Billed as “the utmost grown-up Hallowe’en scare experience”, FearFest Evil is made up of multiple terror zones – and the Review has tickets to win for those brave enough to enter.
The diving centre’s quarry takes on a whole new life as the Trilogy of Horror with an army of night creatures lurking in the darkness in surroundings created from authentic film sets and props.
The original railway platform becomes platform 13 where the station master invites visitors to journey down the dark and deathly track.
The woods are the home of Mr Gacy, the clown entertainer, along with the demented bride and her children and then approach the sewers of darkness.
There is also CarnEvil of the Bizarre – a 20-minute freak show with the infamous Circus of Horrors, including the electric chair which pumps 300,000 volts through a human body.
Adrenaline junkies can take the night-time hangman’s swing and death slide which hoists the rider 50ft into the air before being slowly pulled back to the release point for a terrifying drop into the darkness, 245ft over the steep quarry cliff edge.
You can escape the Trilogy of Horrors by plunging off the 70m-high cliff edge into the dark void of the quarry down the Death Slide, one of the UK’s longest, tallest and fastest zip wires which reaches speeds of up to 40mph.
We’ve got two sets of two tickets for the £34.99 standard scare package to win – CLICK THE LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE TO ENTER.
