Gloucestershire-based open air cinema organiser ‘The Alfresco Film Company’ is set to return Following a successful series of outdoor film events in 2017, the company return to to the Forestry Commission’s stunning Beechenhurst site, near Coleford, for four alfresco screenings in 2018.

This week the Review has teamed up with The Alfresco Film Company to offer our readers the chance to win tickets for the screenings of two fantastic films at Beechenherst, Coleford. We have 2 pairs of tickets for the screening of scary clown horror ‘IT’ on May 11th and 2 pairs of tickets for Oscar winning feelgood classic ‘Forest Gump’ on May 12th up for grabs.

Later in the year the company will also be bringing the 2018 musical smash ‘The Greatest Showman’ (August 10) and David Bowie eighties fantasy adventure ‘Labyrinth’ (August 11) to the forest

Visitors can expect to enjoy the films in high definition on a giant, 8m wide screen, with crystal clear cinema sound and great food and drink, with outdoor recliner beanbags and deckchairs with blankets and popcorn available for the complete alfresco experience.

Alfresco Film Company promoter Andrew Mitchell-Stead said: “We had a great time at our open air cinema events in the Forest of Dean last year, and we’re excited to be back at Beechenhurst again in May and August for more movie magic.”
