THE Dean Theatre Company are gearing up for The Pantomime Adventures of Robin Hood at Lydney Town Hall, and we have some tickets as the prize in this week’s competition.

One lucky winner will get four tickets for the evening show on Friday, January 24th, at 7.30pm, doors open at 7.00pm. These can be any mix of four adults, seniors or children.

The costume department have been busily scouring their local shops for costumes and fabric. If you have donated to your local charity shops, there is a good chance that you might recognise some of the fabric patterns on stage.

Costumes take a vast amount of fabric, and the local charity shops have an enormous amount of duvet covers, sheets and curtains that have been purchased by The Dean Theatre Company and re-purposed in to costumes for the Robin Hood pantomime. This is not only an eco friendly option but also helps raise valuable funds for our local charity shops in the Forest. Why not go along and have a look for yourselves, Perhaps you will seen your old curtains?

The Pantomime Adventures of Robin Hood is on Friday 24th January at 7.30pm, Saturday 25th January at 2.30pm and 7.30pm and Sunday 26th January at 2.30pm. Tickets are available from www.tickettailor.com/events/thedeantheatrecompany and doors open half an hour before each show.
