FORGET jam and Jerusalem – the Tutshill Women's Institute are taking the organisation underground!
Member Jacqui Eisenhofer won a competition prize which let her and her fellow members experience the Dean from another angle.
The women plunged into the depths of Clearwell Caves to a depth of over 200ft.
They had to crawl through small spaces on all fours and pull themselves along through the tighter holes.
One of the highlights of their tour was coming across a 350 million year-old fossil.
But the women still remained glamourous with some finding time to touch up their makeup during their exploration.
A spokesman for the WI said: "Fears were overcome and conquered leaving members with a tremendous sense of achievement. We would like to thank the owners of Clearwell Caves for such an exciting day."
