ONCE again I take up my pen in defence of a member of my family.

It is reported on the front page of this week’s Review that my grandson lives in the Yorkley Court Community Farm. This report is incorrect.

My grandson Thomas has not lived with this group of organic farmers for almost three years.

This was a decision he made because of the fact, as you have pointed out, he is Cllr Andrew Gardiner’s grandson.

Why because he chooses to live a different lifestyle to the majority, is he labelled as an activist?

He is living a life independently, doing all he can to produce food for people and our local organic shop.

True, he supports the YCCF and was able to take warm soup for them when they had lost all.

Please report what is accurate, factual and above all be honest.
