THE Victoria Centre in Lydney has enjoyed a remarkable year thanks to the goodwill and generosity of the people of this area. Major grant bodies such as Gloucestershire Community Foundation and Gloucestershire Environmental Trust have made possible major renovations but it is local

organisations and individuals who have, by their own efforts, provided so much more. May we thank, therefore, most sincerely:-

For our wonderful garden – Forest of Dean Lions, The Iris Watts Trust, The Royal Forest of Dean Rotary Club, Mr N Williams, Acorn House.

Forest of Dean Round Table, The Gloucestershire Masonic Charity Association, The Lydney Town Council, The Mid Counties Co-op, The Harry Tuffin Store, for furniture and equipment.

The Forest of Dean District Community Fund and the Ginger Gym for the inauguration of the Friday Lunch Club which is offering free exercise and transport and finally Mr and Mrs T Elkington, Mr and Mrs B Clutterbuck, Mr and Mrs E Bayliss, Mr and Mrs B Thornton, Linda Beswick, The Cross Inn, Aylburton, Mr C Dubois, the family of the late Bunty Liddington, Mr G Hyde, the staff of Nail Attraction and certain anonymous friends for generous contributions. To these and everyone else for their continuing support in creating what is such a vital and vibrant Centre may we say 'Have a Happy New Year!'

– Pearl Biddle, Secretary, The Victoria Centre.
