LYDNEY barber Jarred Liddington has been named the best in Britain.

The 28-year-old took the coveted Wahl British Barber of the Year title in a competition at Salon International held at the Excel Centre in London.

It is the third title that Jarred, who is based at the Regent’s Centre, has won this year with judges again being wowed by his creativity.

He said: “Some of the people I was competing against are inspirations to me, so just getting there was an achievement.”

Jarred showcases his work on social media site Instagram and his jarredsbarbers page has 28,500 followers around the world.
