IN your front page story entitled 'The real Christmas message', the one with the photographs of the beaming smiles of Joseph (Dan), Mary (Cathy), baby Jesus (the lovely Archie) – I noticed one of the other participants holding a carton of Ribena.

I wish to point out the historical inaccuracy of this. Ribena was not available 2,000 plus years ago.

To assume that the multi national company of GSK in Coleford were exporting Ribena to the Holy Land is totally wrong.

Was this a deliberate product placement by GSK?
