I'M a newcomer to the Forest and enjoying the lovely surroundings.

However, I am saddened by the dismal sight of the two boarded-up houses in Dockham Road, Cinderford, near the Co-op. What a depressing sight, it reminds me of wartime.

Are they unsafe or do they belong to an uncaring person who must know that not far away people are living on the streets?
