I?HAVE just read an article on the burning of the metal storage box containing the training equipment belonging to the juniors at Berry hill rugby club. I know how much enjoyment  the youngsters get from playing on Sunday morn­ings also the training during the week.

My grandson plays for the under nines and the joy he gets playing and tell­ing me about all  what goes on is a joy for me to listen to.

The estimated cost of this damage is £3,000 which is hard to find in this economic climate.

What is the cause of this?

Lack of respect from some members of the public?

Lack of parental control?

Cheap alcohol, easy to obtain drugs?

We could come up with all sorts of reasons, finding the cause is the main problem.

Society in general is on a downward slope and every one needs to pull together before it gets out of control.
