I WARMLY welcomed Mark Harper's undertaking that if any part of the Forest of Dean is sold to developers, my right of access will remain sacrosanct.

It means that if Mark buys a plot and builds a nice new house there, I will be entitled to access his back garden, and walk right through to the front garden.

Can we also expect to be invited to stop and enjoy a nice glass of sherry on the way through, I wonder?
