THE ANNUAL Forest of Dean Enterprise fair has been hailed a great success with a successful show held at the Vantage Point business village in Mitcheldean.
There was a “great buzz” from those attending the fair, which is organised by the Forest Entrepreneurs group and brings together businesses from across the Forest.
The day-long event also included a number of well-attended business seminars.
Sam Holliday, the Federation of
Small Businesses’ development manager for Gloucestershire said: “It was a fantastic day and a real celebration of the diversity and enthusiasm of businesses within the Forest.
“It was particularly heartening to see so many new business owners come along and make good contacts and get lots of advice which can only help them in the future.
“A great day for the Forest – and a great day for Forest businesses.
“Two firms who couldn’t get space this year have already asked about stands at next year’s fair, and gathering more feedback from attendees, exhibitors and sponsors will help us ensure that the Forest’s only regular business-to-business event continues to provide a great networking opportunity and a real service to the Forest economy.”
