FOUR brave lads who agreed to lose their locks for a charity night at the Tufthorn Inn have helped to raise £900 for the Great Oaks Dean Forest Hospice.

Regulars Amos Franklin, Kim Akers and Julian Tyler, plus landlord Jack Crook, took the plunge, with Julian having the most to lose!

Paula Walden from The Barbers in Coleford obliged and tried to make the ordeal as comfortable as possible.

"It feels a bit cold now," said Jack Crook, adding that everyone had a great time and the pub wanted to give a big thanks to all who took part, especially Ivor Ellis who provided the music.
