JUNIOR pupils in Bream were so impressed with a Shakespeare production they watched that they decided to do their own.
The pupils at Bream Church of England Primary School were inspired by a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at nearby Puzzlewood.
Headteacher Elizabeth Chirgwin said: “They saw the production at Puzzlewood and were very keen to do something themselves.”
The 45-minute version of Shakespeare’s comedy included songs and music and was performed for parents.
It also marked something of a curtain call for Year Six pupils who will move to secondary school in September.
