BROCKWEIR Amateur Dramatic Society (BADS) presents a new production loosely based on Kenneth Graham’s classic Wind in the Willows this week.

The play was written by longstanding BADS member Corinne Cassidy.

Spokesperson for the group, Tony Summers, says: “In the plot the genteel pastime of boating on the Wye gets spiced up after the main protagonists make frequent visits to riverside hostelries.

"The play includes power struggles, power cuts, fracking and a quest for true love.”

Performances take place on Friday, April 8 at 8pm and Saturday, April

9 at 2pm and 7.30 pm at the Mackenzie Hall in Brockweir. Tickets are

available from Brockweir Village Shop, Brockweir Country Inn and Brown’s of Llandogo.

The benefiting charities for 2016 are Brockweir Moravian

Church, Llandogo Early Years Playgroup, Centre-Point and Brooke Hospital for equines.
