A NEW village shop has been set up in Staunton – in a local pub.
Villagers will now be able get a range of staples such as milk, meat and butter from the White Horse Inn.
Landlady Hayley Carter said: "We asked villagers what they wanted and a shop and cafe were popular choices.
"We've opened the shop with help from the Pub is the Hub (organisation) and we're looking forward to seeing it develop."
Among the items for sale will be dairy products from Netherend, Wye Valley meat and sausages and local wines.
The shop is in a nook outside the bar area and will be open from 10am until the pub closes while the cafe will be open between 10am and 4pm.
