AN open letter to Mark Harper.

'Although you were appointed by the Conservatives to stand for the Forest of Dean constituency in the 'Hallowed Halls of Westminster,' please remember it was us who elected you.

We now call on you to take notice of our feelings and represent us.

Remember a politician locally wanted the glory of Whitehall posts. Ignoring the views of his constituency he blindly supported the party line. However at the next general election his constituency remembered his inability to represent them and voted for someone else.

Mr Harper you may well have already sealed your own fate. We have the power to make you redundant

Represent us, support us and we will support you. Fail to do so and you will have to look for new employment.

The Forest of Dean is a way of life not an asset you can sell.

We have been promised much by previous Conservatives and the Forest has enjoyed protection. You tell us the Forest is safe. How can it be when you ignore other promises made by those who you aspire to be.

Represent us or become unemployed. Your choice.'
