THIS weekend (July 1-3) sees the Widders Weekend of Music and Dance in Chepstow.
The three day festival of folk music and Morris dancing each year culminates in the closing of Chepstow High Street for various activities on the Saturday and a mass procession of around 400 dancers across the old iron bridge across the Wye from England into Wales on the Sunday.
The weekend also features a street market, music/dance and drum workshops, Coach and Horses beer festival, pub music and dancing and food specials and much more fun besides.
Most of the events are free but the main event is The Ceilidh at Chepstow School at 8pm on Saturday where tickets are available on the door.
