I HAD an accident and fell off my bike on Saturday, January 13 at about 10am in Whitecroft.

I would like to thank the motorists who stopped and came to my assistance, and also to the staff at Forest of Dean Tyres for their help and for storing my bike. 

The ambulance took me to Lydney minor injuries unit to be assessed. I broke my wrist and am waiting for an operation to repair a ruptured tendon in my knee.

I will not be back on my bike for a while!  Once again thank you to all the kind people who stopped and gave me aid. I am most grateful
