CONGRATULATIONS to David Norman of Longhope for his excellent letter (Review 8.5.09). I have long wanted to respond in a similiar vein to those who think they could run the country and resort to name calling. My criticism is sending an army to Afghanistan where men are being killed daily. Twice in the 19th century we were chased out of the country and so were the Russians in recent times.
