LYDNEY Air Cadets attended the National Service Veterans Association annual service and reunion day on Sunday.
The Air Training Corps Unit, 614 Squadron travelled to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, to pay their respects to those who had given their lives in service for Britain and visit memorials.
They were also with 493 (King's Heath and Moseley) Squadron from Birmingham and were asked by organisers if they would like to participate in the service and march past the Air Marshal, Sir Graham Anthony 'Dusty' Miller, KBE.
Each year the service is held as part of Armed Forces Week to commemorate those people who served in the forces as part of their National Service.
