A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after falling down steps at Chepstow railway station on Friday afternoon.

The 18-year-old was found by the bottom of the stairs to the overbridge on platform one by another passenger at about 2.45pm.

Nicky Moggridge, who owns the First Class cafe at the station, comforted the woman until emergency services arrived and was able to speak to her.
