WHAT do men know about pregnancy? Precious little, thinks first-time author Andrew Knight, mainly because nearly everything you read about it is targeted at women.
Andrew, 32, who lives and works in Cinderford, has just written an e-book called 'Expectant Father – She's Pregnant!' which he has self-published on Amazon.
And in a little over two weeks more than 100 copies have been sold, half of them going to America.
"It's a man's guide to pregnancy written by a common, no nonsense man," he says, adding there's a lot to learn even if you don't have to take deep breaths and push hard.
It was inspired by the birth of his daughter Isla to partner of two-and-a-half years Katie. Isla is now seven months old and waiting for her to come along needed a great deal of prep on his behalf, with no guidelines or clinics to help. Pregnant mums, on the other hand, are swamped with help and advice.
"I think most men are not at all well prepared for such a big event in their lives. But when I looked around I found the is not much to go on. That's why I wrote my book."
The e-book can be bought from the Amazon Kindle e-book store.
