ANGLER Sam Hughes will be flying the flag for the Forest in the Junior Fish-O-Mania final as he competes for the £2,000 kitty on Sunday at Stoke on Trent.
Sam, 16, is often seen on the banks of local venues with his dad, Chris, pitching in to working parties in support of his club, the Royal Forest of Dean A.C.
He has won numerous matches in recent seasons, and is always aware of the support given by Nick Oakley, and local tackle shop Wye Angling as he makes his way to the top of the sport.
He also gets tremendous support from his mum, and sister Emma, who is herself no novice at match fishing.
