I WOULD like to inform the person who recently dumped a load of tree and hedge clippings on farmland in Awre, that their actions have resulted in the deaths of several of my calves, worth between £700 and £1,000 apiece, from yew poisoning.
Farming these days is hard enough without having to put up with the irresponsible actions of others. Any costs you might have incurred to dispose of those clippings legally, would have been much less than the costs we have incurred, ie post mortem on animals, loss of income etc.
If you would like to reimburse us for the cost of the animals, I am sure the Review would be only happy to pass your cheque on to us.
