A NEWNHAM woman’s spectacular outdoor Christmas lights display has raised more than £350 for charity.
Anna Whitney’s home in Newnham was festooned with an array of lights for most of December as she tried to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
She was decided to raise money following the death of her mum, Jane Miller, from pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of any form of cancer.
The display raised £358 with people leaving donations outside Anna’s house in Orchard Rise or donating online.
She said: “Even though the weather was horrible, I managed to raise £358.71 so I beat my target of £300 which is great.”
The display was put up by her husband Darren who is an electrician.
