OFFICERS in the Forest of Dean are appealing for information after a spate of burglaries in Highnam.

The first burglary occurred in West Field between 5.45am and 10.45pm on Saturday, March 12. Offenders forced entry to the rear of the property and a large amount of cash and jewellery were stolen.

A second burglary happened between 9am on the same day and 7.50am on Sunday, March 13 on Gordon Close. Offenders forced entry and conducted an untidy search but nothing is thought to have been stolen.

At around 7.30pm on Saturday March 12, a witness reported seeing four men looking into windows of properties on Hill Crest.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incidents 446 and 503 of Saturday March 12 and 107 of Sunday March 13.
