OFFICERS investigating two burglaries in Woolaston, near Lydney, are appealing for witnesses.

Both incidents happened between 5.15pm on Wednesday, March 2 and 6.30am on Thursday, March 3.

The first was at a service station on the A48. Offenders forced entry to the premises and stole a white Ford Escort, a black Subaru saloon, a grey VW transporter van, tools and machinery.

The second was also on the A48, at a car garage next door. Offenders forced entry and stole a mountain bike, tools, a pressure washer, a vacuum cleaner and a machinery generator.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to call police on 101 quoting incidents 89 and 137 of Thursday, March 3.
