A CALDICOT man who has been on the run since 2000 has been arrested by police in the north of England.
Keith Turner had been on the wanted list since failing to appear at Reading Crown Court on a charge of fraud.
He was arrested in Fleetwood, Lancashire and has been remanded in custody.
Turner had served 19 years for the manslaughter of his mother and sister in 1973.
He was released in March 1993 on life licence and moved to Caldicot in 1998.
Turner had been due to appear at Reading Crown Court on a charge of attempting to obtain property by deception by falsely issuing four cheques to the value of £11781.46.
