DEAN Heritage Centre is asking artists from the Forest to submit work for their annual community art exhibition by next Monday (November 14).

Joanne Clarke, education and audience engagement officer, said: “The exhibition runs from Saturday, November 26 until Sunday, January 8 and is the perfect opportunity and platform for local artists and creative people to share an exhibition and reach new audiences.

“We had some wonderful pieces entered last year and, as previous years have proved, the creativity and talent in our local area is staggering. We are expecting more high quality and exciting work from artists across the community this year.

“The exhibition has been a launch pad for solo shows at the centre for both established exhibitors and aspiring artists. Artwork in any medium will be considered, but photographs rather than original artworks should accompany your application.”
