A GIANT bear has set up residence and is turning heads on a quiet Forest road.

The bear, made of huge straw bales and standing at about 18ft high is the work of farmer, Phil Gwilliam – standing at 6ft – of English Bicknor.

And the bear bones? It's all about the Bicknor Bears Nursery stand at the village fete – English Bicknor Primary School on July 9. Put it in the diary or face the consequences.
