ANOTHER Review reader has become convinced of the presence of an as yet unidentified large black cat roaming the Forest.
Mrs Becky Morgan, of Bream, and her son Nick, aged 14, had a better view than most of the animal as their dog had chased it into a tree.
Mrs Morgan was walking in the woods between Whitecroft and Parkend.
"We obviously took the animal by surprise. Our dog chased it and it immediately climbed a tree, clinging to the trunk. It is a large black cat-like animal about the same size as a labrador dog," she said.
"We had a good view of the animal. It ran away as soon as our dog turned away."
Mrs Morgan had always been doubtful about the sightings until seeing the animal herself.
"We have been busy checking all our animal books at home but we have not spotted anything like the one we saw," she said.
