YES, Lydney is the strategic place for a new Forest hospital.

We have the land and at present we are 20 miles from Gloucestershire Royal while Cinderford is less than 15 miles from Gloucester Royal. Ironically, we are around 10 miles from the New Vale Hospital at Dursley with no third Severn Link!

Lydney is, and will be, the fastest-expanding economy in the Forest with an increase in population of at least 50 per cent over the next few years. Let’s make it happen: bring the hospital to Lydney.
