TRADING Standards are warning of a scam in which a card is posted through doors from a company call­ed PDS stating they were unable to deliver a parcel.

It has a contact telephone number, 0906 6611911 – a premium rate number – and anyone hearing a recorded message will already have been billed £315.

Anyone receiving a suspicious card can call Royal Mail Fraud on 020 7239 6655.
