A MOTORCYCLIST from Caldicot died following a crash on the M4 on Christmas Day.

He has been named as 49-year-old David Evans who died at the scene following the accident at around 6pm on Christmas Day.

The crash happened between junction 24, the Coldra, and junction 28, Tredegar Park near Newport.

Gwent Police are asking witnesses to call 101 quoting log number 250 of December 25.
